I'm a forty-one year old, husband of fourteen years and father of two boys. I am an apprentice woodworker and volunteer firefighter and EMT.
I am researching the invention process and trying to move ahead with ideas. This idea stuff, if taken to its rightful end, is not for the faint of heart.
It has been proven that driving 55 miles an hour allows you to drive about 30 miles more than you wolud normally drive on a fill-up, and there have been some proposals of making 55 mph the national speed limit. But there's a problem with that, highways in the mid-west, where a lot of transportation on the road is going on. So they'll start acking for exemptions, and like Bill O'Reilly said, "Once someone starts asking for exeptions, then everyone is going to be asking for exemptions and it just won't work." Whenever I hear the words governement and mandated in the same sentence I know it's going to end bad. So here's my proposal, we make one lane on the freeway the 55 mph lane. Anyone who drives in this lane must go about 55 mph, no faster, no slower, that way it's madatory, and no one complains.
