Ever wonder why people who build or do extensive remodels on homes become so frustrated as the process evolved? I have figured out why...there is NO ACCOUNTABILITY. This means that when the enigineer makes a mistake which costs 2k to fix, it is up to you to pay it. This means that when the architect miscalculates the number of outlets you will need, you pay for it. This means that when the contractor has to make 10 extra visits to the city, you pay for it. Sure, they can't anticipate every change, but this is really the only industry I can think of where the vendors are completely unaccountable for errors. When you purchase a faulty product, or your are quoted a bad price or you receive something you didn't order, you don't pay, in every other industry. Home builders, remodelers, real estate agents, etc...this should change. Imagine building a home and being pleased by the experience of it?
