Do you hate putting up and taking down Christmas lights as much as I do?
If the answer is yes, imagine having your lights as PART of your house! So, instead of hanging your lights, and then taking them down a month later, just flip a switch!
I imagine a contraption that integrates with the siding of your house that goes right under your roof. So, instead of the standard 2X4 that is under most roofs, it would be a 2X4 like contraption that has lights installed into the board. And when a switch is flipped, it simply rotates the board 180 degrees and the lights turn on. Then, when the holiday is over, simply flip the switch and go back to dormant mode!
This could be a feature installed on new houses, and also by siding companies. You could make them in all sorts of colors, and even change out the light bulbs if you wanted a different color. Or, maybe even make it so you can change the color on the fly!
