I've written a book describing 30 different personality profiles based on flowers. The first flower you think of when I ask the question "If you could be a flower in the garden of life, which one would you choose?" is the true you. Your first thought comes from a deep place inside, your soul level and it's the color, the design of the flower, it's qualities etc. that I use to tell you the soul gifts you brought with you on this journey through life.
An example: Rose. When someone chooses a rose, depending on the color, I know what drives them. Next, I know this is someone who is not looking for new best friends unless it is their choice, that they need time to open up on their terms. They will let you know when they are ready to move things to the next level. I also know when you get too close too fast, they can get a bit snippy because you have crossed a boundry. Sometimes they can be a little high maintainance. They do well on their own, but really thrive in a community of like minded individuals for a higher purpose. There is more to this story.
I am a writer who is connected to the life force of nature and I realize that "As above, so below". For that reason, I look to nature as my guide and when I started looking at the flowers, it came to me, we are all flowers in the beautiful garden of life. Even someone who would describe themselves as a weed, cactus, or tree has a part to play in the puzzle of life. There is a place for all of us in the garden.
It's my hope that through this book we can all be more tolerant of each other knowing we all have value just the way we are.
For parents I think it's useful to know what your child would choose because if you are a Sunflower and they are a Gardenia, you would want to give them Gardenia food, not Sunflower food to help them thrive the best. The diversity of the garden is the BEAUTY.
