How many times has your cell / mobile phone lost reception in the middle of the call, then kept getting voicemail while you both tried calling each other back at the same time? Let's put in place a rule - the person made the initial call is responsible for reconnecting. This would eliminate all of the churn and wasted time (not mention valuable mobile phone minutes) trying to reconnect.
Perhaps we can enforce this rule through the development of phone software (e.g. iPhone) which blocks calls from the called person once a call is dropped. Or sends a text don't call me - I will ring back when I can. Also see "Voicemail 2.0" for open development phone software ideas on IDEASTOX.
