A portable high intensity red light with magnetic base. Carried in the trunk and used only in dense fog. Driver would put light on top of car or on trunk It would be powered by the car's cigarette lighter or battery pack.
The light could be seen by cars approaching the rear. It would help to avoid the massive pile ups we see every year during the fog season.
Rear fog lights are standard equipment in most vehicles in Europe.
