Full Foot Running describes a technique that can be used by amateur and experienced runners. While planting your full foot is not the extent of it, this technique does involve a heightened consciousness about how you use your foot, and your entire body, in the running motion. This is idea for runners who are trying to recover from knee and hip injuries, torn muscles, shin splints.
I have been through many injuries, many marathons, and am still running. You don't have to stop, you just have to adjust your expectations and your awareness. I can teach this technique to any type of runner and would like to write a book about it.
