Ever since I was a little girl, I loved playing dress up and I am 27 years old and still do! I made a career out of what I love; FASHION. I received a BS in Fashion Merchandising and have been working in the fashion industry for almost 10 years.
If you have ever taken the Long Island Railroad, you can't miss hearing "WATCH THE GAP," over and over again. It's probably a sign that people have not "watched the gap" in the past, and have paid for it. The GAP refers to the space between the train car and the platform, large enough for a foot, ankle or lower leg. The Gap Closer is an automatic platform extension emanating from the train which opens and retracts, bridging the gap, every time the doors operate at a station stop. Use if for LIRR, Amtrak, monorails and subways. Thinking this isn't too difficult to engineer.
