The IPod charger idea and my wife's comment got me thinking about a whole gym that was powered by people's exercise energy!
What if we invented a gym that a portion of the electricity was delivered by the people exercising? I believe some of this idea has already been implemented, but my idea would greatly enhance this concept.
The idea would be to monitor each person's electric outlet, and keep track on a big board that all gym member's could see. You could rank each person's output. Therefore, it would kind of be a competition! The harder you work out, the more energy you contribute!
