Choose security over freedom and you deserve neither.

"Ignored to Adored" is a non-profit program that would "recycle and repurpose" gently used assistive devices, such as: walkers, wheelchairs, canes and crutches. There are hundreds of thousands of "neglected" mobility products out there that just need some new life breathed into them!
The organization would recruit artistically-inclined (or just sorta creative) volunteers of all ages who would use a variety of art supplies to "sassy up" the old, ugly medical devices. Each device (now a piece of artwork) would then be donated back to the community/public where they could be used (and hopefully, adored) by anyone and everyone.
There are so many reasons why I believe this program will be uber-successful:
1) it would be seen as a massive recycling project; and 2) it would be a means of introducing art back into the public; and 3) it would widely benefit those with mobility disabilities of all ages.
