I'm a forty-one year old, husband of fourteen years and father of two boys. I am an apprentice woodworker and volunteer firefighter and EMT.
I am researching the invention process and trying to move ahead with ideas. This idea stuff, if taken to its rightful end, is not for the faint of heart.
First of all, this idea is inspired by the iPod Gym Charger (Bjorn) and some similar ideas published on IDEASTOX, so credit to those visionaries who saw this coming as a major trend.
It struck me while running that we create energy even when we're not at the gym. We walk, we clean, we cook, we talk, type... we move. And so when we do move, we should -theoretically- be able to capture that energy and store it for when we need to use saved energy. In other words, there are times when we can self-fuel our energy needs with what I call LIVE POWER, and there are times when we need saved energy to fuel our needs.
LIVE POWER would fuel each individual's energy needs with each individual's energy output and output stores. If you run out, you pay a fee for the extra you need. If you don't, you are completely self-sustaining.
Not only is this very good for the planet, it creates a system of accountability and personal responsibility, and reinforces a sense of global - or at least some level - of community.
Imagine carrying a flash drive device with your power, your LIVE POWER.
