Starting as a Web site and, eventually opening a few locations in key fashion markets, mpb allows people to turn one "base" handbag into an accessory with endless possibilities. Here's how I envision it would work: 1) 7 - 8 base bag styles (hobo, clutch, shoulder, tote, satchel, frame bag, etc. and some small accessory options) available in 8 -10 colors (all leather, and perhaps 2 or three colors would only be available seasonally). Each bag would have a place to put a detachable bag accessory (or 3), but all bags would look just as beautiful plain as they do accessorized. Since the quality of these bags will be high, they would be priced from $75 - $350 depending on size and material. 2) A large and varied selection of bag accessories - leather bow (big and small, available in lots of colors), chain or charm accessories, the possibilities are endless and I would want to keep an open mind. These accessories would vary in price. 3) The result is a great, moderately priced, well-made handbag that can be altered to fit multiple needs in seconds. Replace the bow with one of a different color or take the accessory off completely - either way - it will look great.
