I am researching the invention process and trying to move ahead with ideas. This idea stuff, if taken to its rightful end, is not for the faint of heart.
I'm guessing this is not going to be a popular idea...so lay it on. I propose that the auto companies develop a technology which allows drivers to use their left foot to operate the pedals. I have no proof of this, but the idea comes from my belief that repetitive use of the right foot causes an imbalance in our foot muscles, leg muscles and ultimately hip/spine. As an amateur athlete, I have noticed weakness in my left foot and ankle, leg and up and I believe it has something to do with the imbalance caused from driving. Maybe I drive too much? Maybe I am totally out of my mind? Doctors, physcial therapists, trainers and athletes, could you weigh in here? Thanks for your feedback...or any other ideas on how to combat this imbalance.
Sure, I drive too much. But I also exercise a lot and I think this product would improve my balance in basic sports such as running, swimming and cycling.
