I love ideas and I want us to decide which ideas make it. It's that simple. If you have an idea, publish it...this community will give you honest feedback and if your idea is a good one, as judged by the community, we'll do everything we collectively can to connect you to people who can help make it happen. If we all support ideas from one another, we'll end up with more ideas from people and fewer ideas from boardrooms, where agendas are, well, clouded by other factors. We're going to be the one they sell to anyway right? So let's make our voices heard and tell the world what we want. The more we all participate, the stronger our influence, the more accurate the STOX VALUE, the more representative the greater good is in our reality.
I should have done a better job looking into this. There are a bunch of these kinds of remote monitors and control systems available.
I would like a home monitor that would monitor electric and water flow at every outlet. It would also know the state of every external door and window as well as the freezer and refrigerator doors. I would like to be able to remotely access this device and could use one at home and at our vacation home.
This is a very simple system. All the parts are available. The only thing to build is the device that records all the data and connects to a pc or mobile phone for remote applications. It could be as simple as a remote waterline monitor with alarm and shutoff capabilities or as complex as a hotel system.
