There is a new statistic out which states that the amount of time and gas spent searching for parking spots is unbelievably wasteful. And while I consider myself a very active individual, undaunted by long walks, I too, as a result of the demands of everyday life, find myself taking directional risks in parking lots that don't pay off in either the time or gas category.

Parking lots should therefore offer Parking GPS systems that would enable drivers to literally see a map of available spots as they are entering a lot.  I frequent a lot now which tells me how many spots are available on each level. 

That's not good enough.

Tell me where they are, as I drive down the aisles. 

GPS people...can you help me out?
