I'm a forty-one year old, husband of fourteen years and father of two boys. I am an apprentice woodworker and volunteer firefighter and EMT.
I am researching the invention process and trying to move ahead with ideas. This idea stuff, if taken to its rightful end, is not for the faint of heart.
The 'rubber on a blade' automobile windshield wiper has not changed in 100 years, we can improve on removing rain from our windshields.
Develop a automobile windshield glass with the outer surface formulated with a silicon/Teflon base. This will prevent rain from adhering to the windshield. In addition, redirect the wind over the hood to flow across the windshield, assisting in removing the rain. When the automobile is going slow a fan placed in the cowling under the windshield would increase air flow.
