Zillow, I am going to give you my idea...you can contact me or not, but I'm telling you as a practiced buyer and seller of property, in recession and not, this is an idea you should seriously consider. Create a place where buyers can tell you how much they would pay for a property after they have seen it. Millions of people are going to open houses and seeing the properties you have values for (hey, just like this idea will have a value!). Why not utilize their first-hand knowledge and create a sub-directory of values based on buyers offers. Then let sellers access buyers offers and voila, you are in a much more integral position relative to the transactions going on. There's more - revised commission structure and advanced ad model for you...but let's see what the IDEASTOX community thinks of this idea before I spill all the beans.
