With the increasing desire for residential streets and other areas to discourage speeding, many neighborhoods have installed street "humps". These do a decent job but also hinder emergency vehicles access.
I propose a retracting speed bump design that is pre-built into a container for easy and quick installation. The retracting can be controlled by emergency vehicles automatically.
This could also be used in front of emergency stations or anywhere else imaginable.
