ALVIN - DEEP ATLANTIC - BLACK____________ The deep submersible glides through the inky darkness, 2.8 miles down. Floodlights reach out like bright fuzzy arms and legs giving the appearance of a lone creature of the deep, swimming aimlessly through the infinite, cold black void. Something massive darts through Alvin's front floodlight at an incredible speed creating a brilliant reflective flash of light. Alvin's propeller's whir down to a slow spin and his short range floodlights scan back and forth in the deep void. Silence.

Suddenly a loud shrieking sound and Alvin drops to the floor of the pod, clutching his ears and clearly in pain. Fade to black.

A boy is playing with toys in his bathtub. He pushes the submarine under the water and we hear a scream, what sounds to be his sister. The boy releases the submarine but it stays submerged, tweaking his curiosity.

Alvin is awaking. He notices...

He is alone in a bed in a NYC high rise, it is 4 AM, He is soaked in sweat...where is he? how did he get here...? suddenly startled by a blood curdling scream coming from the next room… followed by a gun shot....as a beautiful women he's never met before stumbles into the room, and drops dead in his arms.

Fade to black….

A phone rings on Capital Hill ....

A junior Congressman from New York answers. His name is Charles Weiner. He is in his office, at 4am, preparing for a speech, primping and practicing in the mirror when the phone rings. His wife is on the other end of the line.

"He said what happened? How? You didn't ask?"

His wife is in bed with her lover. He is an older man. His wife is the age of the Congressman, one of the Hill's youngest. He is 35. She hangs up and goes back to the lover. The Congressman calls his brother Alvin.

A phone rings in Alvin's study...but no one answers. Camera pans wide and settles on Alvin dead with a knife sticking out of his back. Fade to Black. A jumbo jet prepares to take off from Heathrow airport in London. Aboard the plane is world-renowned environmentalist Jessica Tathum, developer of the live power chip enabling human beings to capture their own physical energy and convert it to an external power source. Ms. Tathum is on her way to Washington and is stopped by a young man who evades the Coach/First Class divide.
