Remember the Soup Nazi? He stood in his real world "storefront" on West 56th Street and sold soup with an attitude. He did this before and after he became a national figure courtesy of Seinfeld.
Here's my twist: The Soup Mixer.
Maybe this is gross but when I find a good healthy soup bar, I like to mix my soups. And the soup bars that allow me to do this get my business. I usually do a little carrot ginger with lentil, and maybe a few veggies from another soup. It's yummy, warm and very satisfying.
Soup mixers could open up tiny storefronts, in highly trafficked urban settings. I for one, think it's a healthy lunch idea for all of us busy people on the go.
The fresh soups available every day would have to be somewhat compatible of course, with a few constants.
Is this gross or would other people like to buy a bowl of lentil, carrot ginger, miso soup? What are your favoirite combinations?
