Hospitals, Libraries, Post offices..like the designated safe places in the state of California for infant drop offs for mothers to take their newborns that they are unable to care for.. Instead of careless abandonment..Giving a wide range of places someone could drop a tip or request for help in, without getting caught making a phone call etc. for their own safety..The boxes would be frequently checked and The rules for the boxes to be governed by the proper authorities.
As a victim of rape when I was 14 years old, I can personaly testify that a resource like the Tell Me Box would have helped a very young, shy, terrified teen to get help.I was a teen who's parents were going through a divorce , with a new person living in my home that I didn't trust, so I ran away from home in order to draw attention to my problem.. 36 years later I am still looking for ways to help victims...
