I am a writer and illustrator, living and working in Los Angeles. My latest project, Things that Suck, is essentially a book-long list of, you guessed it, things that suck. It includes such items as: getting dumped, getting fired, getting your schlong caught in your zipper... What can I say? There are a lot of things that suck. And aside from complaining about them, I love the idea of websites like this that allow us to do something about it.
The idea is a leash that is built into the collar so when someone needs to walk their pet, the leash is already attached to the collar.
How does it work? To walk your pet, unstrap the leash handle from the collar and pull the leash out of the retractable pulley. When walking session is complete, simply allow the leash to retract back into the pulley, and velcro the leash handle back onto the collar.
This idea solves the problem of losing your pets leash and finding a place to hang the leash around your home.
Once this invention is complete, this could replace all other leashes, because it is such a convenience when it is time to walk your pet.
I am 23 years old, I am in a Pipefitters Apprenticeship program, currently in my second year. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife Tara, and our dog Reyna. We take her everywhere we can possibly take her, she really likes the dog park. I also enjoy thinking of all kinds of different things, like inventions, songwriting, investment strategies, etc. I just want to keep on trying to better myself, so me and my wife can enjoy our lives together, and be truly happy.
