How about a prime time major network television show that solves problems related to ecology and global warming, with pertinent questions/suggestions from the audience-at-large, in a game show format with percentage-of-profit prizes going to the idea people? And star guest hosts. And only green sponsors. Al Gore did once host a Q&A session with the audience at large, but it was not a game show. And he addressed some of the issues hilariously on Saturday Night Live at

Well, I'm having memories of walking the canal in Kern County by a little river of oil leading to a huge lake of the inky stuff with cans, old shopping carts and other memorabilia floating in it. Then pan to me looking at the kitchen plastic bags drawer and musing: even when we do require all stores to use biodegradeable bags, what are the constituent components they degrade into? And is bamboo really the panacea it appears to be?
