The idea is this: the United States Postal Service needs a comprehenisve recycling program. I recently moved and filled out 3 change of address forms. Curiously, you can't just ask for a form, fill it out and submit it. The form comes in a packet of local advertising and pamphlets etc... and when I handed in my forms and the untampered packet, I noticed the postal worker threw the 3 unused packets into the garbage. "You recycle those right," I asked. "No, we're supposed to throw them in the garbage." I said, "That's really bad for the earth..." alas, I was talking to an individual whom, perhaps while wanting to help the earth (after all, it had done nothing but provide the resources to create the U.S.P.S. and a decent place of employment/home/parks/beaches...), had no authority to change the process. U.S.P.S. - please create an institution-wide recylcing program - that goes for unwanted catalogues, untampered brochures, etc...
