So many bathroom ideas - I had to add my own. This is not my idea - someone brilliant had it and there was a story in the NYTimes Magazine about it years ago (see pic with credit to NYTimes I think). Someone built a bathroom with a transparent wall, as if it were one of those observation windows. You can't see anything yucky, you do see women (in this case) primping and pampering their hair, makeup and clothing in preparation for that which lies ahead. My spin on this is to export the idea, put sinks under the mirrors and watch how much water is saved. Not only is this culturally intriguing, it's also terribly practical. Bathrooms everywhere, add a one one-way mirror, above sinks, with viewing on the street and SEE what happens.
