My idea is to have the yellow light on traffic signals have a count-down. Thus being able to better predict whrn the light will turn red.With the recent change to L.E.D. lamps in place of incandesant bulbs it would be an easy upgrade. The New type  lamps have aprox 100 plus L.E.D.'s within them making the ability turn on and off selected L.E.D.'s to be able to show  a count-down while in yellow before it turns red
